Our Village School

We are pleased to work closely with our local primary school Ticehurst and Flimwell C of E and pupils regularly celebrate special festivals with services in St Mary’s.

St Mary’s and St Augustine’s each have a Foundation Governor on the Governing Body of the School. Jane Pentecost-Wild and Kate Milne are the current Foundation Governors.

Our incumbent, when appointed, will be able to attend FGB meetings as an ex-officio Foundation Governor.

Our “Open the Book” team bring the Bible to life in school on a regular basis.

If you wish to apply to our school this is done through the East Sussex website. The closing date for new entry to start in September is usually in early January. (It is October for secondary school places.)
